Click on the link to each blog review to read it in full. Thank you all at Headline and all of the book bloggers for reading the book and posting their incredible reviews. Publication day for The Miner's Lass

Image
Today's the day when my novel The Miner's Lass is published in ebook, audiobook and hardback. It's a cracking story starring my most innocent heroine yet in Ruby Dinsdale. The theme of mental health weaves through the story and the threat of being sent to the Borough Lunatic Asylum hangs over the characters, one in particular, for whom I cried while I was writing the book.  But it's not all doom and gloom, there are some wonderful comic moments, the strength of family bonds and friendship shine through and the women in this book - oh, the women - are fantastic.  Order your copy now. __ Glenda Young Author of Sagas & Cosy Crime novels, published by Headline Twitter: @Flaming_Nora Facebook: GlendaYoungAuthor

Cover reveal, The Miner's Lass

Image
I've always loved the strong, dramatic images of all of my books. They reflect the strong, dramatic women that I write about and the strong, and you've guessed it, dynamic, stories that I write.  And I know it's wrong to have a favourite, it's like choosing a favourite child. But, I really like this one a lot.   It's the cover for my novel The Miner's Lass  which comes out in ebook, hardback and audio in May this year and in paperback in October.   The Miner's Lass   features my most innocent heroine yet. She's called Ruby and she's a gem... but oh boy, do I put her through hell. If you'd like to, you can order in advance.   __ Glenda Young Author of historical novels with Headline Twitter: @Flaming_Nora Facebook: GlendaYoungAuthor

The Miner's Lass

Image
I'm very happy to reveal the title and details of my sixth saga set in Ryhope in 1919. THE MINER'S LASS will be released by Headline in ebook and hardback in May 2021 and in paperback in November 2021.   It features perhaps the most innocent of all my heroines so far, Ruby Dinsdale, who is a plucky young lass who gets her heart broken in the worst possible way. There's family, feuding and fighting in this book along with mental health issues and the Sunderland Borough Lunatic Asylum. As always with my books, it's a very dramatic read that cracks along at a fast pace.  You can find out more about it and even pre-order if you'd like to - click here . __ Glenda Young Author of historical novels with Headline Twitter: @Flaming_Nora Facebook: GlendaYoungAuthor
