Flaming Nora

I'm going for walks on the beach a lot. Almost every day since December 3rd last year, I've walked for an hour on the beach. I walk one way, turn around, and walk back.  And every day the beach looks different.  I especially love walking on damp sand in heavy walking boots, squashing pebbles into the sand. The two pictures were taken today, a winter day on the beach. The sun was shining with just the tiniest bit of warmth coming from it. Do you know what? Sometimes, just sometimes, a day on my own with no one to talk to and nothing to do apart from whatever the heck I want to do, is just wonderful. I've had such a day today.  I wouldn't want them all the time, but when I have them, I love them .
