Waterstones, My Weekly, Two Launches, Morrisons and Tesco - My Writing Week

This week I submitted my manuscript for The Bakery Girls to my publisher, Headline.  This leaves me free to really enjoy the release of Celebrations at the Toffee Factory, which came out last week in paperback. And it's been a joyous week!

I had a short story in My Weekly magazine, and my name on the cover.  The story is called The Toffee Factory Queen and is a tie-in with my toffee factory girls books.

The winners were announced in the mini bookcase competition and announced here.

Celebrations at the Toffee Factory was spotted in my local Morrisons supermarket, always a joy to see!

And it's even more of a joy when it's not spotted on a shelf because it's sold out. This was my local Tesco.

I'm doing two book launches this week in Chester-le-Street, close to the site of the original toffee factory I write about in the toffee factory girls books.  The first book launch on Friday morning from 11-1 is at Crafty Gift Shop inside Saint Cuthbert's Walk shopping centre, on Front Street.

Here's their gorgeous window display!

And the second book launch is at Boyes store on Front Street from 2pm to 3pm.

My publisher Headline has a competition to win a set of signed books. It's on Instagram

And I called into Waterstones Sunderland to sign a mountain of books after they sold out on release day!

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016.
