This week has been a wonderful rollercoaster ride as it was publication week for the third in the Toffee Factory Girls trilogy. First though, I gave a talk about my books at Sunderland's Donnison School Heritage Centre. Thank you to everyone who came.
I also worked at Sunderland University library on the final edits of The Bakery Girls before it goes off to my publisher Headline in a few weeks time.
On book launch day I spent two wonderful hours at indie bookshop Featherbed Books in Houghton-le-Spring. Thank you to everyone who came to buy a book.
And I've been invited to officially open Sunderland History Fair on Saturday 30th May. It's free and open to all.
Book launch day was a flurry of activity!
I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016.
