Write what you know, Write what you love - My Writing Week
This week I made good progress continuing to write the first draft of The Bakery Girls and I'm almost half way through. There's still a long way to go, even after the first draft is written. For now, I continue to sit down each morning and write. I'm loving the story and I hope that you will too.
In other news, this week I attended the Spring Fayre at 17nineteen in Sunderland. I sold a lot of books, chatted to a lot of people and had a wonderful day. It's a gorgeous place to be.
I received this wonderful message from a reader of my Scarborough cosy crimes. It's typical of the messages I receive, and each one is fantastic. My books inspire people to visit, return or even move to live in Scarborough.
I was invited to speak to the creative writing group at Sunderland Women's Centre. The group is one that I part-funded for the centre, as they do incredible things. They also helped me in my writing life and are an important part of my adventure.
And my Scaarborough cosy crime set in the world of ballroom dance - Deadly Dancing at the Seaview Hotel - is just 99p this month, Download it here.
Also this week my cosy crimes are on sale in the top station of the Central Tramway in Scarborough. What joy it is to see them there!
