Riverside 450th Milestone, Language Learning and Taking a Break - my Writing Week

This week has been very relaxing . I celebrated my birthday, which was great. Also, I'm in the luxurious stage of having no book-writing to do as I'm taking a book-writing break until the end of the year.   This long break gives my thoughts a chance to calm down, characters I've been holding in my head for months can walk away and I can start to rest my mind.

Until it all starts again next year!

This week I was overjoyed to see a language school in Whitby using the Italian version of my cosy crime set in Scarborough - Curtain Call at the Seaview Hotel - for language lessons. This makes me very happy indeed.

Don't forget that until the end of August, you can download Murder at the Seaview Hotel for just 99p. Download it here.

Also this week the winner was announced in the competition to win a copy of the book with a box of Milk Tray chocolates.

And a milestone was reached this week as my soap opera Riverside published its 450th episode in The People's Friend magazine.  What a joy this is to write!

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016 and you can find out all about it here.

I also kept the Coronation Street Blog ticking over with news and editing the team of 16 bloggers.
