This week I've continued editing my fifth cosy crime novel. It's a slow and careful process unpicking what doesn't work and strengthening the parts that do. It'll be ready in a few more weeks after more careful picking and knitting it back together.
There's a new competition this week to win a signed copy of Murder at the Seaview Hotel and a box of Milk Tray. Enter here.
My August newsletter was sent out. It has a new competition, a 99p offer and a cover reveal. Read it all here.
Also this week I popped into The Crafty Gift Shop in Chester-le-Street. It's the only shop in the town that sells books. If you're in the area, do call in and support a wonderful local business.
This month my Scarborough cosy crime Murder at the Seaview Hotel is just 99p. Download it here.
And as I get excited about this year's Strictly Come Dancing - my favourite TV show - here's a preview of my next cosy crime to be published later this year! Pre-order it here.
My cosy crime about obsessive crazy golfers, Foul Play at the Seaview Hotel, is now available in Italian and what a gorgeous cover they have designed. You can order it here, ciao!
I took a day away from my work this week to visit Eden Camp, a prisoner of war camp in Yorkshire. It was a sobering experience but well worth a visit and I highly recommend it.
And finally this week, spotted on the romance sagas table at Waterstones Newcastle, my toffee factory girls front and centre. What a joy.
I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016 and you can find out all about it here.
