I don't really"do" valentine's day. I spent too many years as a single and feeling sidelined because no matter how you might see cards for all your family members, it's still a day for couples. Now that i'm part of a couple, the only fuss i want making is a card. There will be no pressies, no flowers or going out to dinner. The prices are jacked up too high anyway. Get a card. that's all i ask. My birthday is only a couple of weeks after that anyway so i'd prefer a fuss made then :)
Probably something quite low key but nice. A meal at home with the hubbie and some chocs, something like that. It's our housewarming party a couple of days after that too, so we need to conserve funds. The romantic trip to Paris can come next year!
Our local, lovely Indian restaurant is doing a special Valentine dinner. My thoughts are heading that-a-way and I'm hoping Mr Flaming has picked up on those thoughts or he's reading this, ahem.

I'm going to be very trad as usual - a dozen red roses and a meal out somewhere posh and salubrious...
