It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas. And I'm not ready for it, not yet. Well, ok, I've ordered my Christmas cards from here and got my leave and train ticket booked to head up north, but I'm not feeling in the least bit tingly about it just yet. It's weeks away, it's too commercial and Santa Claus isn't real. He's not, you know.
I'm just hoping I start feeling like this over the next few weeks.

I know what you mean; I'm very resistant to the early arrival of Christmas... however, for once, this year I have begun my shopping early (instead of playing Christmas chicken)... I want everything all sorted without any stress and last minute panics. Give it a few weeks and I shall probably be wondering why I don't feel "Christmassy"...
Christmas? No.
I'd like to leave it for Christians - it's surely their celebration.
I've already started picking up some gifts and plan to shop for more in Paris and the markets in Manchester. I never have a really busy Christmas but i love spending the time with family and having the time off work. Last year's holiday was pretty low key for several reasons not the least in that i got a bit of the flu over the actual holiday :( This year's should be better.
