This week excitement mounted as tickets were booked to see two of my favourite female singers over the coming months. First off is Siouxsie Sioux in November where she'll be promoting her cracking new album Mantaray. And then in January next year it's the fantabulous Alison Moyet who'll be showcasing The Turn.

I saw Siouxsie and the Banshees at the Edinburgh Playhouse in December 1988 - they were absolutely spectacular. I heard "Here Comes That Day" on Radcliffe and Maconie last week - what a fantastic sound! The samples on the site you've linked to sound great too. Can't wait to get the album.
I like Alison Moyet. That would be a good gig.
I am double jealous. I will expect a full review of each. Harrumph!
Oh, I will give reviews of these ones, believe me. I've seen Alison Moyet many times before both in the USA and UK and saw Siouxsie and Budgie a couple of years ago at the Royal Festival Hall with the Kimono Drummers or whatever they were called. Fantastic night.
