I know what you mean. I like to play Christmas chicken... leave all thought of Christmas to the very last minute. It heightens my enjoyment rather than lessens it. I'm sure such a philosophy could have applications in other areas of my life as well...
Our nationwide mail order catalogue, Sears, usually delivers the Christmas "Wishbook" around now. The first week in January, they deliver the summer catalogue and in June they deliver the winter one.
