Author retreat in Scarborough - my Writing Week
The photo below is Eatme Cafe inside the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. My next cosy crime, Music To Die For at the Seaview Hotel features a band called The A64. Their big hit in the 80s was called 'Meet me at Eat Me' and this is THE restaurant on which the song is based! It's my favourite eatery in town and I highly recommend it, but do book to avoid missing out.
My new Scarborough cosy crime was given a lovely mention in New Writing North's newsletter. The book launch is on Sunday December 6 at The Fire Station Sunderland with all profits from the books going to baby bank charity called Love, Amelia.
Also this week I was interviewed by Bek Homer on BBC radio York. You can listen to our chat at 2hrs 15mins here. We talked about why I've set my cosy crimes in the seaside town of Scarborough.
And I'm overjoyed to be invited to officially open the Christmas Fayre at Sunderland College. I'll be there selling and signing my books too. It's a great day.
I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016.
