My God, is Emily Bishop still going? Surely one of the last bastion's of original Corrie along with Ken Barlow?
Yes she's been in it since the very early episodes hasn't she? Known as "Miss Nugent" then. And she survived being whacked over the head by the psychotic Richard Hillman, no mean feat for an oldie like her... (For someone who's not even a Corrie fan I know a fair bit, don't I?).
Yes you can kind of tell Eileen Derbyshire is a nice, humble, unassuming kind of person. She certainly doesn't have a "diva" quality about her. Some other soap stars really do have massive delusions of grandeur though. I heard that the actress who plays Rita is a bit of a snotty cow in real life. Is it true, Nora?
Rita snotty? Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. She was the female version of Alan Sugar in The Cabin. I always preferred Mavis...
Gossip on street stars? I'm saying nothing. As always.
Boring!! Dish Nora, dish!!
