Very proud and happy to be able to reveal the cover of my fourth novel, The Girl with the Scarlet Ribbon. I know I shouldn't have favourite books, it's like having a favourite child, but I think this book is my favourite so far - not least because it's set in my favourite place!
The story is set between Ryhope and Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast.
When a newborn baby girl is found abandoned with nothing but a scarlet ribbon tied to her basket, Ava Davidson, housekeeper of the wealthy McNally family's home, the Uplands, takes her into her care.
