Webmistress, NetGalley, Sewing & Secrets - my writing week

Calling all book bloggers and reviewers!  My debut cosy crime set in Scarborough - MURDER AT THE SEAVIEW HOTEL - is now available to request from Netgalley - click here.

To reflect the two different genres I'm now writing in - historical sagas and cosy crimes - I've been tweaking and updating my website.  Any feedback most gratefully received, it's here: glendayoungbooks.com

If anyone would like to join a very friendly online sewing group, they're going to be creating designs based on my novel PEARL OF PIT LANE.  All materials and books supplied free.  Contact rokerlifeproject@gmail.com to join in, places are limited so please be quick!

I'm sworn to secrecy right now, but for reasons I'll explain very soon, the hardback version of my novel The Miner's Lass is set to become a collector's item. Can you guess why?

Currently writing my second cosy crime set in Scarborough. Each week I give my draft chapters to my husband to read. Sometimes he returns them with a smile, sometimes a note when something didn't make sense, sometimes there's even tears in his eyes. But this made my day!

When I wasn't writing, I was reading and this week I'm enjoying The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016 and you can find out all about it here.

I also kept the Coronation Street Blog ticking over with news and editing the team of 16 bloggers.

See you next week!
