This week I wrote the two sweetest words an author can write - The End. Finished the first draft of my 4th Scarborough cosy crime. And breathe, two, three, four... hard work comes now in the editing process.
I sent out my author newsletter for May. Read it all here. It contains 2 competition, a 99p offer plus news about the launch of my new novel this month.
My novel The Girl with the Scarlet Ribbon is just 99p this month at bit.ly/GirlWithTheScarletRibbon
Ole! From Scarborough to Spain. My cosy crime Murder at the Seaview Hotel is now available in Spanish with publisher Newton Compton. Order it here.
Author Paul Magrs writes northeast sagas as Elsie Mason (a wonderful name!). In this week's YouTube he talks about two of my novels - Belle of the Back Streets and Murder at the Seaview Hotel, along with other books too. Give him a watch here.
While on a day trip to Ulverston in the Lake District, I popped into the local Oxfam shop where they had a copy of my novel The Miner's Lass, which is now signed!
I'm really happy to be taking part in the Love Sunderland Heritage fortnight with not one, but two events, which are highlighted in the brochure which is available to pick up from libraries and centres in Sunderland
I'm also opening the Sunderland History Fair with the Mayor of Sunderland.
I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016 and you can find out all about it here.
I also kept the Coronation Street Blog ticking over with news and editing the team of 16 bloggers.
