Book signing at 36,000 feet - my writing week

This week you find me refreshed and raring to go after two weeks holiday abroad. It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday and now I'm back and ready to start all over again.

Coming home on the plane I spotted a woman reading a copy of The Paper Mill Girl. I told her  I was the author and she asked me to sign the book at 36,000 feet in the sky. We were both beyond ourselves with excitement!

So, what am I up to now?  Well, I'm now reading and researching for my third cosy crime book set in Scarborough. I can't reveal the title or plot just yet but will do as soon as I'm able.  Here's a teaser of the research I'm doing right now... British MiniGolf Association rules! What on earth could I be writing now...?

I had a lovely, fun short story called Ruby's Restaurant published in this week's Best Magazine.

I'm running a competition for you to win a copy of the book of your choice with chocolates and bookmarks. You can enter here.

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016 and you can find out all about it here.

I also kept the Coronation Street Blog ticking over with news and editing the team of 16 bloggers.

See you next week!
