Magners Pear Cider, the advertisement said on telly, 100% pear, 0% disappointment.
"That's a bold claim", I thought to myself, and quite liking cider and fruit based alcoholic drinks, thought I'd buy a bottle in the supermarket the other week. It was sweet, sickly and tasted artificial.
0% disappointment is a load of old tripe. I'd say my disappointment level was 62%, rising to 95% when I threw the remains of the pear cider away down the sink.

Stick with the Strongbow luv.
The winos on the bench round the corner drink gallons of the stuff - so it must be good.
I'm sure you could sue them under the trade description act with statistics like that under your belt.
I had some pear cider this weekend. Local stuff i think. Forget the name of it. crisp and light, not too sweet. I also saw Green Apple Cider which might be interesting to try but i couldn't get that in individual bottles, it was a box of 6.
