When I saw the news online today, I thought it must have beenan April fool. I'm still jittery, 'cos it appears to be true.The Specials are getting back together and touring later this year. I've been waiting for this to happen for about, oh, 20 years.
How much more excitement can a girl take? The B52s releasing their first album in 16 years and now this. I think I need to go for a lie down.

I'm given to understand that Jerry Dammers will be giving this one a miss. So it's a bit like the MGs without Booker T.
Or possibly Fun Boy 3 with a really good rhythm section.
Ghost Town - still an absolute belter. Terry Hall actually lived for a while in my home town a few years back. Top bloke.
Why is Jerry Dammers giving it a miss? i'm gutted. Still, won't be a million per cent disappointed now if I can't get a ticket, just a bit less.
