London bus
Why can't people in London use a bus properly?
When they're not sitting on the outside seat, covering the seat by the window with their bag and being unsocial about letting anyone else sit there, then they're all squashed up together on the bottom deck when there's loads of empty seats upstairs. And no one says thank you to the driver, either. No one.

I used to love watching The Double Deckers as a kid... I suspect it was a very different world back then, full of men who raised their hats to ladies in the street.
the odd thing was that in the old days (40s and 50s)One never seemed to wait more than about five minutes for the next bus.
Thanking the bus driver...you are my kind of girl.
Thanking the bus driver is the norm where I live.
Time you gave up on That London, Nora.
I LOVE buses in the East Midlands, I sadly don't use them any more living where I do BUT I always said thankyou to the drivers! I ALWAYS wanted to be a bus driver....but got married and had babies instead.
