I realise that when I give updates on the word count of my novel in progress, the posts aren't as thrilling as readers might like. However, there's an enormous sense of achievement in putting together words that make sense after a writing session and therefore, I'm very happy to say, the novel is now up to 21,000 words.
I feel that it's a milestone of sorts as it's approx. a quarter of the way through. All I need to do now is put in the time to repeat those 21,000 words another three times and I'm there, all done.
What I'll do then? I haven't a clue.

Way to go! That's quite an achivement. Just writing that many words is something to be proud of. :) I have to admit, in my experience, the "middle bit" is the hardest but I'm sure you can do it!
Good luck!
Well done Nora - keep going. When it's finished... start another one!
It's so hard. I've been looking forward all day to sitting at the PC to write. And can I get started? Can I bejingo.
I'm impressed by your progress especially as you seem to be typing it on a sewing machine (well your right foot is on the treadle isn't it?)
Yes, keep at it pet!!
Do you have a plan for your novel - some kind of flowchart or breakdown of where the story is going? That should keep you on track?
