Walking, Talking & Eating Cake - My Writing Week

This week I continued to write the first draft of my next saga, The Bakery Girls. You can pre-order it now.  I hit the halfway mark, which is a huge milestone indeed!

Also this week my talk at South Bank Library Middlesbrough on Saturday 25 April has been moved. It'll now take place at Guisborough Library that day. All welcome. Book your tickets here.

My ballroom dance cosy crime Deadly Dancing at the Seaview Hotel is just 99p for download this month.  Don't miss out and get it here.

My cosy crimes was spotted for sale in Waterstones Harrogate this week. I love seeing my books on shelves in bookshops!

And the walking tour of Ryhope showing locations from my books is now open for bookings.  Book your place at the Facebook group here.

There was a wonderful review of my theatrical cosy crime Curtain Call at the Seaview Hotel, by Jackie Watson writer. You can read it in full here.

And as I'm currently writing The Bakery Girls, bringing to life the Sunderland icon that is pink slice cake, I start seeing it in every shop!  Here it is for sale in Mullers Swiss Bakers on Sea Road in Sunderland.  It's delicious.

There's still time to enter my competition to win a signed book and chocolates. Enter here and good luck!

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016.
