Oh, Scarborough! - My Holiday and Definitely Not a Writing Week

This week I took a break from writing my next saga The Bakery Girls and had a short holiday in Scarborough, my favourite place.

While in town, I called into Scarborough Waterstones to sign books. You can see the piles of them on the counter by the till, they sell so quickly they don't even have to go on the shelves!

On our route home, we always stop in Guisborough for coffee. While there, I popped into the library where I'm giving a talk on Saturday 25 April. All welcome! Tickets available here.

I've also been working through the final proof copy of my next Scarborough cosy crime, Music to Die For at the Seaview Hotel.

And I rode the Central Tramway funicular in Scarborough, where my books are advertised inside the car and they sell them at the top station. Thank you Scarborough, for all your support!

And my walking tour of Ryhope, with tour guide Ian Mole made the front page of The Sunderland Echo this week. You can read the full story here.

There's still time to enter my competition to win a signed book and chocolates. Enter here and good luck!

I crafted another episode of my weekly soap opera Riverside for The People's Friend magazine. I've been writing Riverside weekly since 2016.
