This week I've been in my happy place of Scarborough for the launch of my new cosy crime
Deadly Dancing at the Seaview Hotel. With thanks to Heather French from Books by the Beach Festival in Scarborough, the launch was held at Oscar's Bar (the old CIU club opposite the railway station). It was a fantastic event with over 80 people attending. We had cakes, cocktails and glitter ball key rings plus a goody bag for everyone who turned up.
But first, before going to Scarborough I spent a day in Durham city, where I spotted my novels on the shelves at Waterstones. The books are now signed.
The Scarborough News included my book launch event as one of the 6 best things to take place in the week, what an honour.
The book's been spotted out in the wild and in libraries this week too!
And here's the gorgeous picture for my launch.
And even more gorgeous flowers from a friend at the launch.
After the book launch I did a book signing at Mrs Lofthouse's Book Emporium in Scarborough. While there I bought a novel to read and a book to help with researching my next historical saga I'll start writing in 2026.
Here are more pics from the book launch of the gorgeous cake and cocktails!
And here I am (in the blue dress) with Heather French from Books by the Beach Festival in Scarborough, who organised it all.
Here we are again!
This week sees a new competition to win one of three signed books. It's with Trip Fiction and you can
