Magners Pear Cider, the advertisement said on telly, 100% pear, 0% disappointment."That's a bold claim", I thought to myself, and quite liking cider and fruit based alcoholic drinks, thought I'd buy a bottle in the supermarket the other week. It was sweet, sickly and tasted artificial.
0% disappointment is a load of old tripe. I'd say my disappointment level was 62%, rising to 95% when I threw the remains of the pear cider away down the sink.

I'm sure you could sue them under the trade description act with statistics like that under your belt.
ReplyDeleteI had some pear cider this weekend. Local stuff i think. Forget the name of it. crisp and light, not too sweet. I also saw Green Apple Cider which might be interesting to try but i couldn't get that in individual bottles, it was a box of 6.
