It's not yet September and I've just received my first, of what I'm sure will be many, Christmas catalogues. Well,
it is a charity which I donate annually to and therefore I suppose I don't mind
that much really but I thought I'd have a moan anyway. I haven't even been on my summer holidays yet.
I know what you mean. I like to play Christmas chicken... leave all thought of Christmas to the very last minute. It heightens my enjoyment rather than lessens it. I'm sure such a philosophy could have applications in other areas of my life as well...
ReplyDeleteOur nationwide mail order catalogue, Sears, usually delivers the Christmas "Wishbook" around now. The first week in January, they deliver the summer catalogue and in June they deliver the winter one.
