Football season starts next week. Haway the lads, etc. This means the fab Soccer AM returns to Saturday morning telly and structure and meaning return to my life once more. At least until May next year.
I've never been a footie fan. I'm sure my dad and granddad have always been disappointed by this. The only sport I ever showed any promise for was badmington and cross country running. Not really much of a consolation.
